My Streams Of Income

Raise your hand if you want to make cash money in your beauty biz! I think that’s probably all of us, right? Well, I have a secret for you. Having one stream of income from the services you offer is not going to get you to that millionaire mark. Did you know that the average millionaire has seven streams of income? Yes, girl! You read that right; SEVEN! What this means is they are dipping their hands into different opportunities that earn them money. If you were at Slay the Spray over the weekend in Florida, you know that the topic I talked about was how to create seven streams of income so that you can make the money of your dreams in your beauty business. I thought I would share with you the streams of income that I currently have to give you some inspiration on how you can bring more cash flow starting today!

1. X-TAN Sunless Salon

I started out my entrepreneurial journey with my salon, just offering services. Although I sold my original salon, Slay Beauty Bar, I now am the owner of X-TAN Sunless Salon where we offer luxury beauty services to our clients. Through these services we offer contouring, bridal packages, spray tanning, memberships, retail and teeth whitening. 

2. Spray Tan Class

With Spray Tan Class, I offer spray tan certification and marketing courses to sunless artists of different levels. I have courses related to beginner artists as well as experienced artists that want to level up their business and become master certified. Through STC, I also offer marketing courses by themselves because I think it’s very important that not only do you perfect your technique as an artist, but that you have a solid understanding on the business side of your business so that you can effectively market yourself. 

3. Events

This income stream is a costly one! However, I will say that out of all the things that I do, this one is my favorite. I love being in person with all of you and hosting events so that we can come together and level up from the energy that live events bring. There’s a lot of investment, time, energy and planning that goes into events. When looking at my event, Slay the Spray, that I do on an annual basis, we welcome 150 people for three days. The attendees get to meet sponsors/vendors, network with other professionals and learn more tricks of the trade through the speaking engagements so they can go home and get to work in their businesses. 

4. Product Line

Everything that I do is essentially centered around the sunless industry. From the courses that I create, the salon that I own to the products that I make available for other sunless artists to purchase, everything is niched into the spray tan industry. Through X-TAN, I offer luxury sunless solutions, prep and aftercare products, as well as retail products, such as sunless tanning mousse that can be bought at wholesale for sunless artists to offer to their clients. 

5. Affiliate Programs

Being a part of an affiliate program means that I am able to share with all of you some of the products and programs that I currently use and love and have the opportunity to earn money from bigger corporations through referrals. For example, some of the affiliate companies I work with are Kajabi for online courses, Sunna Smile, collagen through Isagenix, Seint Makeup and Gusto for payroll. Some affiliate programs offer discounts to buyers, others just offer an affiliate code that allows the affiliate partner to get a kickback from any purchases made through that unique code. I encourage all of you who have specific products that you are a ride or die for to ask the company if they have an affiliate program. In most instances, the company will say yes! 6. Youtube

Although this isn’t an income stream that I’ve personally made a lot of money from, it can be a great source of additional income. On the Spray Tan Class Youtube Channel we have about 8,000 subscribers, However, the number of Youtube subscribers you have doesn’t matter if you’re not getting views. The number of views your videos get will be what determines the payout you receive. 

7. IG Reels

For almost a year now, I have been able to receive IG Bonuses from Instagram on the Reels I make for their platform. If I create “x” amount of Reels or if I create a Reel and it reaches a certain amount of people then I receive compensation for that. Instagram has been offering this incentive to certain content creators for awhile now, so if you’re interested in earning from social media, it’s time to put your creative cap on and push out content!

8. Amazon

Through this revenue stream, I essentially have a list of products that I love and recommend from Amazon that I can share with other people. Through visiting kellysmusthaves.com I can offer spray tan and business items to anyone who visits my link. I love Amazon! I definitely have spent thousands of dollars on that platform and I’m sure there are some of you that can relate to that! I don’t share this all that often so I don’t receive a ton of money from this income stream, but it is a great opportunity to earn. 

There we have it! I currently have about eight streams of income at the moment. Some of these streams of income are big earners for me and some of them don’t offer a lot of payout at the moment. If I could recommend one of the easiest ways that you could start making additional money, it would be through affiliate programs with companies that you love. The fact of the matter is that we are leaving money on the table every single day. My mindset has always been that we live in an abundant world. There is so much money available to us and opportunities to tap into that we would be doing ourselves a disservice if we do not seek out and demand more for our lives.
